How the Billing Actually Works

Here’s the short version: before treatment starts, we give you a real-time estimate of what your insurance is expected to cover and what your share will be, and you pay that estimated share at your visit. We then submit the claim to your carrier as a courtesy. Since insurance estimates are estimates, you’re responsible for whatever balance remains once the claim processes. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, and for larger cases we can work out a payment arrangement for established patients.
